kembali ke listMangupura, August 13, 2025 – PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia (InJourney Airports), the operator of 37 airports across Indonesia, reaffirms its commitment to supporting community-based economic growth.
As part of this effort, InJourney Airports, in collaboration with PT Sarinah (InJourney Retail), is accelerating the development of Merah Putih Village Cooperatives (Koperasi Desa Merah Putih/KDMP) located in three villages in Bali: Bongkasa Pertiwi, Paguyangan, and Kutuh.
Adi Nugroho, Director of Human Capital at InJourney Airports, stated: “As the operator of I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, InJourney Airports together with Sarinah, which has extensive experience in the creative, MSME, and retail sectors, are working hand in hand to advance the Merah Putih Village Cooperatives in Bali through the InJourney Creativity House program.”
“This program aims to strengthen cooperative capacity so they can become more competitive and drive village economies. It reflects our efforts to provide added value for local communities,” Adi Nugroho added.
Echoing this, Ahmad Syaugi Shahab, General Manager of I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, emphasized that this initiative goes beyond training. “It is a tangible step in realizing InJourney Group’s commitment to empowering communities, particularly micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Bali’s villages, which are rich in local potential,” he said.
Through this collaboration, InJourney Airports and Sarinah held a two-day intensive training under the InJourney Creativity House program for 40 administrators and members of KDMP. Participants were equipped with knowledge on product standardization (raw materials, design, finalization, and packaging), offline & online marketing strategies, product branding, business communication & storytelling techniques, customer service & complaint handling, as well as financial literacy & cooperative financial reporting.
“We believe that through the InJourney Creativity House, members of KDMP can enhance their capacity to manage businesses more professionally and effectively. This will help them maximize product potential, expand to the national market, and even access global markets. Ultimately, improved business management will have a direct impact on inclusive and sustainable village economic growth,” Syaugi explained.
The support from InJourney Airports and Sarinah goes beyond this two-day training. It includes quarterly monitoring and product curation to ensure the cooperatives can consistently achieve their targets. Moving forward, InJourney Airports, as part of the InJourney Holding, plans to expand the InJourney Creativity House program to other regions across Indonesia.
One participant, Ni Kadek Aryastini from Bongkasa Pertiwi Village, expressed her appreciation for the program. “I feel grateful because the training we received has motivated us to keep innovating. The knowledge we gained is very useful and will be applied to develop our businesses further,” she said.
